We have prepared a short overview about qualifications for the 3D Specialist Profile (3D Artist) needed in order to setup and prepare your products in 3D for the Rubens 3D Product Configurator.
Blender or 3ds Max knowledge
Experience in creating assets for real-time rendering: low poly modeling, efficient use of texture space, converting CAD data into real-time assets (maybe this is not needed) (re-topologize, (semi-) automatic workflows)
Author photorealistic materials (PBR - physically based rendering): experience with Disney Principled shader (or Similar PBR-based material abstractions), know how to efficiently create and apply common texture types ( e.g. albedo, alpha, normal, roughness, metalness, occlusion, height)
